Nevada & Canada
In January I went to Nevada to visit Todd and Patty Olson. Patty was my roommate while I went to school in Canada at NTM. Patty is pregnant now and they are due sometime in July, I believe. It was so nice to be able to visit them and also see beautiful scenery that surrounds their little apartment. 
In February I went to Canada to visit classmates and staff at New Tribes Mission of Canada (NTMC) and to visit my roommate from Bible school, Mel Ottaway. At NTM of Canada I got to visit with Carly (3rd picture), who is a good friend and is on staff at NTM. I also got to enjoy LOTS of snow which was wonderful:-). While I was on campus I also had the privilege of having lunch and dinner with 2 staff couples that discipled me during my time in Canada. Then after my short visit at NTM, I went an hour south to see Mel (last 2 pictures), who is also pregnant! It was such a treat to be able to get away and see friends and to receive encouragement. I definitely miss my friends from Canada but health wise my body needs to be in California.
On February 22, 2008 I started "Plan B" for my T.M.J. problems. I now have a permanent retainer with braces in my mouth for the next few years. Please pray for me as talking and getting used to eating with a permanent retainer with braces is hard!

Mel makes such a cute pregnant lady. I'm glad that you were able to see old friends. It's nice to be able to relive old memories with them.
